Succesful introduction of the Oltalom Cultural Circle
The Hungarian Village Health Academy organized a conference called „To ensure equal opportunity in general health care for groups at a disadvantage” in the Chief Medical Office on the 20th of September 2011.

The Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship is 30 years old
„According to the act of religious freedom, the State Office for Church Affairs pronounced the Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship an officially recognized denomination as of October 1st 1981.”

Night vigil for freedom of religion in Dankó Street – Gábor Iványi’s thank you letter
Dr. Gábor Iványi, Rector of the John Wesley Theological College and President of the Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship, gratefully thanks every kind vigil-keeper who spent the night and dawn of July 28 to 29, 2011 with us. There were about 400 of us protesting the new church law. Under „Details” you can read the full letter Gábor Iványi wrote and also the proposal for amendment of the law written by our legal advisor. We plan to appeal to Parliament to accept the amendment. We offer the opportunity for every fellow citizen, whether a believer or a non-believer, who is committed to human rights to support our cause.

The Hungarian Street football Team has left for Paris
The Hungarian Street football Team has left for Paris to participate at the 9th Homeless World Cup which will be played in the shadow of the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The Oltalom Sport Association represents Hungarian Football with 8 players and 2 helpers at the program, where football players of 64 countries match their skills.

"Homeless kindergarten" – information from the president of the maintaining church.
Because of the media interest concerning one of the departments of the John Wesley Theological College, the „homeless kindergarten”, President of the maintaining church, the Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship, Dr. Gábor Iványi Rector has issued a press release. Because of the media interest concerning the “homeless kindergarten”, as the President of the Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship, the maintaining church, I am pleased to provide the following information: It is pleasing that the situation of poor children has aroused the public’s interest. I am grateful for all the assistance and well-intentioned consideration.
